Everglades Bassmasters of South Florida

While our members are very competitive, we also realize that some members are not as experienced and endeavor to take the time to learn new techniques.

Our membership consists of people from all walks of life, young and not so young, who enjoy fishing and the outdoors.

Because of the club’s locale/home waters, the membership is involved with many different organizations to help preserve the everglades for the future. Such efforts include work with South Florida Anglers For Everglades Restoration (S.A.F.E.R.), the Fish and Wildlife Commission and fish and game department, etc.

One important fact the Everglades Bassmasters stress is: YOU DON'T NEED A BOAT TO BE A MEMBER.

Yearly dues are $30 and there is a one-time initiation fee of $30.

Yearly grand lunker fee is $12. Monthly tournament fee is $30 for one-day tournaments and $40 for two-day tournaments. If you’re a non-boater, you pay $30 per tournament day fished to boater to help defray expenses.

There is a club meeting held monthly on the second Wednesday of each month.

Any issues concerning the club are discussed and a drawing for the upcoming tournament is conducted. Each non-boater is assigned a boater for the upcoming tournament.

Readers can visit www.evergladesbassmasters.com  and find out more about this club as well as check out the message board for tournament schedules and more.
