Trolling Motors

Minn Kota’s New Edge Packs Punch In Small Package

The new line of Edge bow-mount trolling motors from Minn Kota are designed to offer power, reliability and quality in a smaller, lighter package.

The all-new mount design of the Edge motor is made of highly durable, tempered marine-grade extruded aluminum. The positive rear stow latch keeps the motor secured in place when making long runs across the lake or river. And the motor’s pull grip stows securely on the shaft yoke.

Edge motors are offered with either cable steer or hand control systems. The foot control cable steer models feature “pull-pull” cables that offer ultra responsive steering performance. Hand control models feature Minn Kota’s popular Tilt Twist tiller with an outboard-type grip for precise speed and steering control.

Edge motors are available in 40-, 45-, 55- and 70-pound thrust levels and come with either a weedless Wedge or Weedless Wedge 2 prop. The Edge 70-pound operates on 24-volt system, all others on 12-volt.

MotorGuide® Wireless Remote Control with Digital Reliability

Wireless remote control operation of trolling motors just became more sophisticated and reliable, thanks to MotorGuide and its digital technology.
New from MotorGuide is Digital Remote Control (DRC), an easy to set-up and install accessory item for the company’s innovative Digital Steer DS and PTSv Tracking Series of digital electric-steer trolling motors. With DRC, anglers are able to control trolling motor high speed steering (360 degrees in two to three seconds) and operation from anywhere within the boat, and do so without the hassle of wires and cables. And since it’s digital, the communication process is a simpler, more reliable system than anything else on the market.

The DRC Digital Remote Control is compact and user-friendly. Its durable, all-weather construction means it can withstand the rigors of every kind of fishing situation. Its shape fits the hand perfectly for comfort and function. Just a touch of one of the five buttons provides constant on/off, left/right and digital speed control.

The DRC accessory kit comes with the digital wireless remote and receiver. The receiver simply plugs in between the foot pedal and motor. The remote communicates with the receiver from anywhere within the boat, providing trolling motor operation whether the angler is facing the motor or not.

Multiple DRC Remotes can purchased and used together making it possible to control your position from two or more locations in the boat.
